Shoreface Bio
and Projects

Cliff is our chief drone pilot and aerial photographer, His passion for Geology, experience as a Geophysicist and love of the WA coast come together in his aerial photography and videography.  A variety of completed projects are summarized below. These include jobs for Swimming Events, Paddle Craft events, Architects, Builders, Geologists, Real Estate Agents, Rural Properties, Schools and Environmental Scientists. Recently he set up a YouTube video channel with over 100videos. Some have attracted over a million views and his footage has been used in movies and promotional videos. He has held several successful exhibitions of his aerial photographs. He has completed several photogrammetry field trips with the University of Western Australia School of Earth Science. Currently he is experimenting with large panorama on stretched canvas. 

Projects

UWA, Geological Field Trip,

2017 Carnarvon Basin

Visited and filmed Paleontological locations on Giralia, Cardabia Gnaraloo and Quobba Stations. Photogrammetry surveying of features along the shores of Lake MacLeod resulted in generation of an orthomozaic of  the Pete's Pond area.

Wilson Inlet Bar Opening 2020

Contracted by the WA Government Department of Estuaries and Water Regulation to video key points of trenching operations, water levels and flow  over three days of the operation. This included photography, videography, photogrammetry, and HDR and panorama processing.

WA Open Water Swimming 2020

The State Championship events for 2, 5 and 10km swimmers were filmed at Rockingham 

Sculptures By the Sea, Cottesloe 2019

In 2019, Sculptures by the Sea at Cottesloe featured several Mega Sculptures.  Thes were filmed and photographed for promotion of the event to sponsores

Humphrey Homes

Building projects have been filmed and photographed at various stages of build in Port Coogee, Cottesloe, Swanbourne and Mosman Park featuring roof construction, concrete walls, location and potential views from various floor levels

Weddings

Videography of a rural wedding locations captured the farm, guests and function set up

Short Film Productions (5-60mins)

Short film productions include Gnaraloo, Gracetown, Sculptures by the Sea 2019, SUP Locals and Wedge Is Surf and are available on request at LSUP Cafe, Cnr Eric and Marine Pde, Cottesloe,WA

Cold Water Classic

The Cold Water Classic event held in Spring annually at North Cottesloe Beach involves open water swimming, beach running,  board racing and stand up paddle board racing. These were filmed and compiled for future promotion of the event

North Cottesloe SLSC Surf Sports

Three years videoing surf sports training at North Cottesloe Beach including general session and coaching specific videography for Ski, Boat, Sprint, Swim and 2K Beach sections.

Ray Boffey Artist

Several projects completed for Ray include photography and videography of  several locations around Gracetown and Gnaraloo Station

Shellabear Real Estate

Several properties have been photographed in Cottesloe, Mosman Park, Nedlands and North Fremantle for promotional material.

North Cottesloe SLSC Surf Sports

Roof inspection prior to refurbishment for planning purposes.

Commissions - Rural Properties

Rural properties in the Margaret River and Dunsborough area have been captured on commission for documenting site and building and location panorama photography 

CCGS Surf Cadets, North Cottesloe SLSC

Surf Cadets were filmed performing surf lifesaving activities and surf sports events for promotion of the program

Nedlands Concerts In The Park

40 Framed photos were exhibited at Hub Real Estate's marquee on four Sundays in February, 2020. One photo was donated for raffling each afternoon
